Monte Urpinu Park
A green oasis in the heart of the city, with a playground for kids, a small café, wide paths shaded by centuries-old trees, and ponds home to turtles, ducks, swans, and peacocks — the park's very own symbol. From the Viale Europa terrace, you'll take in one of Cagliari's finest views: the Molentargius pond and its flamingos, the Sella del Diavolo cliff, and Poetto beach on one side; the city itself, framed by the walls of Castello, on the other.

Parco della Musica
Another green lung of the city, with an artificial river, shaded lawns, a small playground, and a charming café with outdoor seating.
Throughout the year, the park hosts music and cultural events, and in summer it becomes an open-air stage for opera concerts organized by the Teatro Lirico right next door.

Via Dante
Via Dante is one of San Benedetto's historic streets and one of the city's favorite places for a stroll.
Alongside a long bike path, Via Dante is lined with shops, gelaterias, and all kinds of local spots.
In June and October, it turns purple, when the blooming jacaranda trees put on a show worth seeing at least once.
